FBI Carrier Services app for iPhone and iPad

FBI Group Carrier Service App provides a full suite of information including status updates, notifications, alerts and document imaging. The primary purpose of this app is to dispatch a service provider (driver, technician, mobile service worker, etc.) and then accommodate the exchange of information pertaining to the completion of that task whether it’s a delivery of freight, provision of a service in a remote location and so on. The app and supporting API follow the process the time of dispatch through to the point of final completion. As an added option, that same data can then be accessible to related designees via an API or web interface on a discretionary basis in order to benefit other related parties in a more intuitive way. This service oriented task management app and API will enable dispatches, status updates and other workflow processes to become increasingly paperless transactions. Other common workflow processes such as the exchange of barcodes, electronic signature verification and document scanning services are also value-added services offered through the apps and API. Functionality offered in the smartphone app is supported by a Representational State Transfer (RESTful) Application Programming Interface (API) with responses provided in JSON format.
